Wrong graphic explanation!My older one liked it last year. So I ordered again for both kids. I got it for grade 3 math and grade 7 math yesterday. I just glance through and found there is an error on p. 12 of grade 3 math! The graphics explanation of multiplication is wrong. 8x4 = 8 sets of 4 But it only shows 4 sets. I'm a bit upset about this. The publisher should check before publishing...

Big Math Mistake on 1st Page!!!I'm honestly surprised this book has so many good reviews. I bought this one and the 6th grade one and returned them a few days later. Everywhere I looked it shows colored pages, even on the back of the book, however it is all black and white. That was my first disappointment but I decided I could over look that. The pages definitely don't look as fun in black and white though. I was going to have my kids do a few pages because we are trying to ease into homeschooling. I sat down with my daughter, who needs more help than my son in math, and there was a huge math mistake on the first page!!! Unacceptable for a math book! It is explaining that 3x2 is like three groups of two. Then it asks what 8x4 equals. It shows a picture of four groups of four and says if you could the squares you'll see that it equals 16!!! Not going to look through the book anymore after that. I don't need a math book filled with mistakes.

Typos, but it's a good book.Lots of typos and even a wrong addition problem... 9+5 is not 13! Lol! Whoever does the proof reading mut have been on vacation. my kids do enjoy working in these books though.
